Who will be the 84th? Opinion and drivel will show up below once you click through.
Matra has got to come back. Please. Me want more Matra.
Jean Rondeau is surprisingly and criminally underrated.
Seeing that Mercedes W194 makes me think of what might have been had the ‘55 tragedy never happened.
Diesel racers won 9 straight Le Mans. Wow.
That Talbot Lago is a thing of beauty.
Ooohh, a blue Alfa 8C 2300. Cool.

Wow, 9 diesels in a row? I was just thinking the first diesels showed up just 5-6 years ago, but that’s just showing my age. IIRC, they did everything possible to keep diesels out (or at a disadvantage) because they knew the engines would probably pwn endurance racing.

Everything changed in 2006, when Audi looked at the rules for that year from a vastly different angle.

Did I mention GTE Pro? mmmmmmhmmmmmmmmmmmm
It’s fathers day weekend. I have a built in excuse to be selfish and watch the race.
Lets waive the Tricolre now please. I'm ready.

Toyota. To use a quote from TopGear Mk3 episode 1: So much effort for just a little movement.
When will they catch a break?

I would love to see Toyota get one, after all their attempts over the decades I think they richly deserve it. As much as I love both brands, Porsche and Audi have amassed an insurmountable pile of wins, and more are all but guaranteed as long as they show up. With Toyota, a win could secure the future of the program and give us a TSO60 in coming years. Toyota has a history of pulling the plug on racing programs if they don’t win big, and it’s great having them around. If not Toyota, what I’d really like is for Rebellion to somehow magically pull one out against all odds, because I’m fond of that team. I also want to see the Pescarolo name back as a constructor (and yes, Matra too!), we’ve already got “Alpines” and Ligiers back, so why not more France?

F-Type Project 7 will win because why not.

Remind me why the GT40 is so great again?

Because they “shoved it into the throats” of a marque smaller than Ford and very probably would be at a disadvantage if Enzo pushed through with the offer?
Don’t get me wrong, Ferrari was an asshole to Shelby, and I’m not denying that. Fact is, I lament it. But we’re better off with Ferrari by themselves rather than as a part of Ford.
